Start at Nara Station (奈良駅) and head to Tōdai-ji Temple (東大寺)

If you prefer the bus, check the timetable before entering Kasuga Taisha Shrine to plan your visit. Alternatively, you can walk up the mountain in about 20 minutes. Remember, ticket sales and mountain access end at 5 pm, so arrive on time.
